Sports Editor
I began writing for The Collegian during high school as a staff reporter for four different desks: sports, life and culture, arts and entertainment and news. In my time with the newspaper, I have written over 80 articles, and continue to grow the sports desk one day at a time. In my time as sports editor, we began including more multimedia elements such as stills, social media and video into our articles. I also introduced the idea of doing a live updates story container during games, which has immensely boosted engagement.

And there's plenty more where that came from.

Editor-in-Chief
I was a writer for two years for Etched in Stone. My first year, I was the social media manager — giving me graphic practice — and social chair, making the newsroom a positive place. I was then promoted to Editor-in-Chief. I had a total of 57 stories and photo essays, and the stories displayed on the right, I designed all the graphics too (except the pink background one) and took all photos, along with writing the articles.
